SUPERFOOD INGREDIENTS
Every ingredient in all varieties of our chocolates is included for the healthy
benefit it brings when combined with raw cacao. There is much more to
these handmade goodies beyond the obvious pleasure you get from eating
chocolate! In fact, the ratio of cacao to the other superfood ingredients is
1:1. No wonder our customers love how they feel when eating them!
Raw cacao (chocolate) is antioxidant rich and contains a variety of active ingredients, including minerals. High levels of
magnesium support calcium metabolism for peak bone density, high chromium supports sugar metabolism for stable
blood sugar levels, and tryptophan assists in relaxation and deep sleep. Our raw, organic cacao is chemical-free and
leaves no bitter aftertaste.
Raw carob is slowly cold processed and ground into a pristine powder. It contains a high amount of calcium, which
enhances the benefits of magnesium-rich raw cacao.
Tocotrienols are a cold processed, whole rice bran rich in vitamin E oils, with more antioxidant potential than Vitamin E
related tocopherols. This unique mix of proteins, oils, antioxidants and fiber greatly enhance Vitamin A metabolism.
Maca is a root herb that grows in high elevations and dates back to ancient times. Organic maca powder is rich in
vitamins (including B12), minerals, protein, amino acids, and natural sterols. Maca is known for its powerful strength and
stamina support, along with its libido-enhancing effects.
Mesquite meal is a traditional Native American food produced by gathering ripened seed-pods from the mesquite tree
and grinding them into a fine powder. Used as a staple food for centuries by desert dwellers, this high protein meal
contains good quantities of calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron and zinc, and is rich in the amino acid lysine as well. It
has a sweet, rich, molasses-like flavor with a hint of caramel.
ReVitaPhi® is an alkalizing green powder blend that combines wildcrafted land and sea vegetables with potent Chinese
herbs, enzymes and pro-biotics.
Blue-Green algae is one of nature's most nutrient dense foods, wild harvested from the spring-fed waters of Upper
Klamath Lake, Oregon. It contains biologically active enzymes, vitamins, minerals and amino acids. The chlorophyll in
blue-green algae helps detoxify the body and maintain a healthy immune system.
Guarana is high in polyphenols (powerful antioxidants) and saponins, supporting optimal longevity and immune system
strength. In its natural state guarana is an adaptogen, which helps your body relax or energize depending on your
needs.
Sun Fire Salt® combines the finest Himalayan Pink Salt, Bolivian Rose Salt, Hawaiian Alaea Clay Salt and Chinese Sea Salt
from the original Ming Dynasty Saltworks.
SUPERFOOD SWEETENERS & OILS
Agave nectar is a natural, raw sweetener from the agave cactus. It is low glycemic and rich in inulin, which resists
digestion until the lower intestinal tract. This supports pancreatic enzymes for tissue regeneration, immune function and
longevity rather than digestion.
Lucuma is an exotic fruit from South America that is dried at low temperatures and gently ground into a fine powder. It
is a good source of carbohydrates, fiber, vitamins and minerals including beta-carotene, niacin, and iron and has a
subtly sweet flavor.
Cacao butter is the luxuriant oil of the raw Cacao Bean, and it adds a rich creaminess to our chocolates. Truly raw and
unprocessed, the cacao butter we use is a Certified Pristine product.
Coconut oil is a powerfully anti-microbial, pure saturated fat, rich in medium chain essential fatty acids. Coconut Oil is
stable for years at room temperature.
THE CHEWY CRUNCH FACTOR
Goji berries are one of the highest antioxidant food found on our planet. They contain essential amino acids, important
trace minerals, and polysaccharides which fortify the immune system. They are slightly sweet and chewy, and taste like a
cross between a cherry and cranberry.
Cacao nibs are pieces of the natural cacao bean, which all chocolate is made from. All of the antioxidant value, mineral
benefits, and other health-giving qualities of chocolate are packed into these tiny, crunchy nibs.
Raw almonds are a good source of vitamin E, magnesium, potassium, zinc, iron, and healthy essential fatty acids. They
contain more calcium and are more alkaline than most other nuts.
